Preparation Centre - Heddon Laws is a 98 acre stud farm with plenty of space
for the horses to rest, recuparate and be excercised without going onto busy
main roads - yet the stud is within a few minutes drive of the main

Newcastle to Hexham road, just a few miles from the city of Newcastle upon
Tyne.All horses, not just broodmares can be boarded all year round at Heddon Laws. Young horses can be prepared for the bloodstock sales, horses and ponies can be broken in and schooled to competition level.
Clients often ask us to find horses for them and we usually have a small selection of good quality hunters and point to pointers for sale.
Racehorses may come for a rest, to recover from injury or for pre-training before going to your trainer.
New stabling , with the help of DEFRA gives horses the best of facilities with grass in abundance and of course the expertise of the team at Heddon Laws Stud.
The family team at Heddon Laws will make the best of your horse - and when Margaret is not working at the stud farm she makes the most beautiful french tapestries with rural and hunting scenes.
